Celebrating Dr. Ambedkar's Birthday

  On April 13, 2023, the birthday of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Bhim Rao Ambedkar Social Educational and Welfare Club Bhasaur (Reg. DIC/DRA 14119 OF 2019) in the village of Bhasaur. This event is commemorated annually, and its focus is to inspire children towards education. The program was graced by the presence of Dr. Makhan Singh, a retired Deputy Director from the Health Department of Punjab, who attended as the chief guest. Additionally, Sardar Pavitar Singh, the former District BSP President Sangrur, Sardar Amrik Singh Kanth, the District BSP President Sangrur, Malvinder Singh, the Halka Dhuri BSP President, and Principal Gurbakhsh Singh Ji were present at the event. जब ज्ञानी दित्त सिंह जी ने तोड़ा स्वामी दयानंद का घमंड।

 इतिहास में 21 अप्रैल आज के दिन यानी 21 अप्रैल 1853 को सिख पंथ के महान विद्वान ज्ञानी दित्त सिंह का जन्म हुआ था। जुलाहा जाती में पैदा हुए ज्ञानी जी ने सिख धर्म को निगल रहे आर्य समाज के मुखिया स्वामी दयानंद सरस्वती को बहस में तीन बार हराकर अपनी विद्वता का लोहा मनवाया था। ज्ञानी जी पंजाबी के पहले प्रोफेसर थे। उन्हें पंजाबी पत्रकारिता के पितामह भी कहा जा सकता है। उन्होंने 52 वर्ष की उम्र तक 72 पुस्तकें लिखीं। जब महाराजा रणजीत सिंह जिंदा थे तब तक सिखों की आबादी एक करोड़ से ज्यादा थी लेकिन उनकी मौत (1839) के बाद से यह संख्या कम होती गई और 1881 की जनगणना के अनुसार 18 लाख रह गई। ब्रितानिया के अखबारों में लिखा जाने लगा था कि कुछ सालों तक सिखों को दर्शन सिर्फ़ अजायबघर में रखी तस्वीरों से ही होंगे। ज्ञानी जी ने अपने साथियों के साथ मिलकर सिख धर्म को बचाने के लिए कार्य शुरू किया। इन प्रयासों का ही नतीजा था कि ज्ञानी जी की मौत तक सिखों की आबादी फिर से एक करोड़ तक पहुंच गई थी। ऐसे सिख विद्वान को पंथ रत्न का खिताब मिलना चाहिए था लेकिन जातीवादी सिखों ने उन्हें मान सम्मान नहीं दिया। आज के दिन यानी 21 ...
